jonty-yamisha-bioPrior to the Kabardian Group, Jonty Yamisha worked as a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance practice of FTI Consulting. There, Jonty oversaw a number of strategy and restructuring engagements, including the restructuring of Vertrue, parent company to Coverdell. While at FTI Consulting, Jonty led the firm’s efforts in the direct marketing / direct sales vertical.

Prior to joining FTI, Jonty served as Global Leader, Strategy and Business Development for Marsh Global ConsumerConnexions, the affinity and direct marketing unit of Marsh, Inc. (www.marsh.com) a division of Marsh & McLennan Companies (www.mmc.com, NYSE: MMC). He also sat on the Marsh Global Executive Committee – a team of Marsh’s most senior executive, tasked with leading the organizations transformation and turnaround. As part of his duties at Marsh, Jonty oversaw and / or manage capital investments into some of the largest direct-to-consumer insurance marketing programs in the United States and Canada.

While working in Global ConsumerConnexions at Marsh, Jonty oversaw a wide range of direct marketing initiatives, and was a chief architect of optimizing the work flow and efficiency of the unit’s global direct marketing efforts. With direct mailings to over 30M households in the United States, and an additional 20M households internationally, Marsh Global ConsumerConnexions transacted approximately $4.5BN of sales through its various direct marketing channels annually. Jonty is especially proud of his work to re-tool direct marketing efforts away from un-integrated channel marketing into unified multi-channel marketing programs that leveraged the best of direct mail, digital and call-center integration. The unit sold chiefly as an agent of branded-entities and sold a wide range of products on a private-label basis.

Jonty’s came to Marsh after his time at Oliver Wyman – one of the world’s largest management consulting firms, and an MMC sister company. While at Oliver Wyman, Jonty advised a number of insurance entities on a variety of growth strategies, and served as one of the chief architects for the affinity marketing strategy for the world’s largest secular affinity group.

Prior to these roles in the MMC family, Jonty was a serial entrepreneur, having started and sold several ventures, ranging from software development to healthcare delivery. Jonty earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Vassar College, and holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
